Some more pictures of the Pope

Two Raleigh guys. (The white cloth is for waving at the Pope, along with the gold cloths that they also handed out, as are visible throughout the pictures. We also used them to hide from the sun)

The Pope on the big screen to the left of the stage.

Wahooooo!!! There he is, walking toward our section! And the crowd goes wild!

The Holy Spirit was everywhere that day, especially when he walked out toward the crowd in those last two pics. Amazing.

Snow: 02/22/2008

Friday, after they scraped the sidewalks. The freezing rain is falling now. Sorry, no pictures of the snow falling. I had to go to class!
We are heading out to get some medicine for a friend with a bad cold. There is another seminarian clearing the snow off of his car.
The icy mess. A little slushy, but driveable.
Oooooooh!
My room looks out from my window on the right side of the picture, about the fourth notch on the concrete railing you see there. You can see the snow beginning to slide off of the "pool" building on the left. And, look, I see footsteps in the snow. Let us investigate!

Oh...I believe those are mine, and another seminarian's, from a brief snowball attack! but not against the statue of Our Lady.
And this is today, Sunday. Snow and blue skies, ahh.
Similar picture.
Just to the right.
Notice the icicles as the snow is melting on this tree. Cool.
and again.

one more.
